Whether you are a beginner vaper, or an experienced user looking for a versatile and nomad device, you will be seduced by its magnetic cartridge system. This iJust D20/P40 cartridge fits nicely in its dedicated slot and has an e-liquid capacity of 3ml.

This tank functions with Eleaf's removable GTL coils, which allow you to customise your draw as you see fit. You can switch between a tight draw with an indirect inhale (MTL) and an airier draw with a restrictive direct inhale (RDL).

An intuitive and customisable vape

One of the undeniable assets of the iJust P40 kit is its versatility !

Indeed, it’s a scalable e-cigarette that will be able to fulfill the needs of beginner vapers who want a straightforward kit with nothing to set up, as well as more experienced users who prefer to control the e-cig’s power output.

Indeed, the kit will automatically adjust the power according to the coil you’re using. However, if you prefer to decrease or increase the wattage, you just have to adjust it using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ switches on the kit’s front panel, in increments of 5W. You will then see the selected wattage displayed on the mod’s screen.

A quick USB-C charge

You will notice how long the 1,500mAh battery built into the iJust P40 kit lasts. Eleaf tells you how much charge is left, thanks to an LED light on the ecigarette’s frame.

As soon as you press the firing switch, the LED will light up:

• In Green, meaning there’s 60 to 100% of the battery left
• In Blue, meaning there’s 20 to 60% of the battery left
• In Red, meaning there’s less than 20% of the battery left

If the LED is red, then it’s time to charge the battery. To do so, use the USB-C cable included in the kit and plug it into the dedicated USB-C port beneath the iJust P40 mod.

A nice 3ml tank

On top of the mod lies the iJust D20/P40 cartridge. This tank has a magnetic connector and can hold 3ml of e-liquid, which should last you a whole day with ease.

Inside this cartridge, you will find one of Eleaf’s GTL coils, which can be removed if needs be. Therefore, once the old coil wears out, you can swap it for a new one, without having to replace the entire cartridge.

Eleaf’s GTL coils

As soon as you get your iJust P40 kit, you will be able to install one of the two included GTL coils inside the cartridge: 

• One GTL Mesh coil of 0.8Ω, to be used between 12 and 18 watts, for a rather tight draw with a Mouth-To-Lung inhale
• One GTL Mesh coil of 0.4Ω, to be used between 20 and 30 watts, for a slightly airier draw with a Restrictive Direct inhale

When your coil wears out (after about two to three weeks of use), you’ll have to replace it with a new one, without changing the cartridge !

To change the coil, you must:

1. Remove the cartridge from its slot
2. Pull out the old coil
3. Insert the new coil after soaking it with a few drops of e-liquid
4. Fill your tank with e-liquid
5. Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the new coil to prime itself

A sliding switch for adjusting the airflow

The switch located on top of the mod, just below the cartridge, is for adjusting the airflow. By sliding it left or right, it’ll close the air intake more or less.

This will change the draw from a tight one to an airier one, depending on what you prefer.

A quick and clean top fill

The iJust P40 kit is fitted with the iJust D20/P40 cartridge, which is very easy to fill up thanks to its clever top cap !

There is no need to remove the tank from the mod. Simply grab your favourite e-liquid and :

1. Slide the top cap outwards to open the filling hole, where the drop-shaped mark is
2. Insert the tip of your bottle of e-liquid inside it
3. Fill the tank, but never to the brim
4. Close the top cap
5. Wait 5 to 10 minutes if you’re using a new coil
