GeekVape Aegis Legend 5 Kit

GeekVape offers the version 5 of its Aegis Legend kit, an electronic cigarette matching power, capacity, sturdiness, and aesthetic!

This e-liquid is composed of the Aegis Legend 5 mod and the Z Sub-Ohm clearomizer, specially made for an airy draw in direct inhaling (DL).

Supplied with two 18650 batteries (not included), this kit delivers a maximum power of 200W.

The leading model of the Aegis collection, the Legend 5 stands out with its sophisticated design and optimal ergonomics.

For this fifth edition, Geekvape has clearly drawn inspiration from motorsports, opting for a C-frame metal design for the mod.

The manufacturer completes the design with a set of LEDs surrounding the main face of the Legend 5.

Like its elder, the Aegis Legend 3, the version 5 of this mod is certified IP68.

In other words, it is specially made by Geekvape to resist shocks, but not only!

This electronic mod is also waterproof up to 1m50 of depth for 30 minutes, and is also protected against dust.

This certification enables you to use your device safely, protected against all the hazards of everyday life.

How does the Aegis Legend 5 kit work?

Between the color screen and the adjustment switches, everything has been designed to give you a smooth and optimal vape experience.

To get started, access the mod menu by pressing the Power switch three times in a row.

Select the functioning mode that suits you among:

• NORMAL mode: automatic power setting to optimize the flavor rendering
• SMART mode: automatic power setting according to the coil installed in the Z Sub-Ohm
• ECO mode: automatic power setting to preserve the battery
• CUSTOM mode: manual power adjustment from 5 to 200 watts
• TC mode: temperature setting (in F°), to only use with a rebuildable atomizer

GeekVape also enables to easily and quickly lock or unlock the kit, with an A-LOCK button as handy as it is functional.

A capacity in dual batteries

For version 5, Geekvape has retained the dual battery power supply system, in keeping with the Aegis Legend range.

Therefore, when you receive your kit, make sure you have two 18650 batteries (sold separately), which have been charged beforehand.

Open the trapdoor beneath the mod to access the battery compartment and slide the batteries inside.

Be sure to follow the polarity indicated on the bottom of the compartment!

Out of battery power? Use the USB-C cable included in the box to recharge your batteries.

This port is located on the mod and is covered with a thick silicone membrane to ensure IP68 certification.

The Z Sub-Ohm clearomizer

What could be better than a Sub-Ohm clearomizer for this kit, designed for direct inhaling (DTL) cloud vaping!

Compatible with Z Series coils, the Zeus Sub-Ohm features a 5.5ml bulb tank.

With top filling and top airflow, it ensures a handy and effective experience.

Coils made for the DL

Thought for an airy draw in direct inhaling, the Aegis Legend 5 kit is delivered with two Z Series coils:

• 1 Z Series coil of 0.15ohm XM (pre-installed): to use between 70 and 85W
• 1 Z Series coil of 0.4ohm XM: to use between 50 and 60W

These two values are meant for a cloudy vape, slightly more restrictive if you choose the Z Series coil in 0.4ohm.

How to change your coil?

After two to three weeks of use, the coil will start to show some signs of wear (loss of flavors, light burnt taste).

Then, it will be time to replace it with a new one.

For this:

1. Take the clearomizer out of the mod
2. Unscrew the bottom part of your Z Sub-Ohm
3. Take the used coil out by slightly pulling on it
4. Soak a new coil with some e-liquid drops
5. Put the latter in its compartment in place of the old one
6. Screw the bottom part back on the clearomizer
7. Reconnect the Z Sub-Ohm on the Aegis Legend 5 mod
8. Wait for some minutes before vaping so the new coil is correctly primed with e-liquid

A leakproof top airflow

For the Aegis Legend 5 kit, GeekVape bets on a top airflow clearomizer, in other words, with air intakes on the top part.

This system enables a precise airflow setting by simply turning the ring according to your vape preferences.

The more you free the two airflow holes, the cloudier the vape!

The advantage of the top airflow also lies in its leakproof function, which prevents any unwanted e-liquid from escaping.

A top filling tank

Is it time to refill the 5.5ml round tank? No need to disconnect the clearomizer from the Aegis Legend mod!

Simply take your dropper bottle and:

1. Unscrew the top cap of the Z Sub-Ohm
2. Insert the tip of your bottle into one of the two filling holes
3. Pour in your e-liquid (do not pour anything into the central hole of the chimney)
4. Close the top cap by screwing it back on

Remember to wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping if you are using a new coil.
