Arômes et Liquides's adventure started in September 2012 in a small town next to Saint Etienne. The company was founded by Julien Argaud, who is passionate about electronic cigarettes and mostly about the "Do It Yourself" practice (ie, making your own e-liquids).
In the beginning, Arômes et Liquides had to make do with only Polish and American products, the leaders of the concentrate and nicotined base markets at the time, as the e-cigarette and DIY vaping community was not as important as it is today.
After much development and determination, the French laboratories decided to collaborate with this small company and helped lay the foundations for a 100% French DIY scene, as Julien dreamt about.
With helpful feedback from online forums, Arômes et Liquides set itself apart by offering a service that is close to its clients, which effectively makes them responsible and decision-makers for the choice of flavours in the catalogue. It can almost be called an interactive shop!
Arômes et Liquides abandoned its long name in favour of a simpler and more aesthetic « A&L », and this change of identity also signalled the company's resounding debut in creating their own original flavour concentrates.
After the success of the now famous Ryan USA, Julien followed up with the Tork 65, and finally with one of A&L's iconic ranges, the Panda range. After becoming a DIY leader thanks to its varied offer and product quality (especially for its concentrates and bases), A&L decided to broaden its offer beginning 2015 to become a general shop capable of providing everything needed to start vaping in the best conditions possible.
From beginner kits to equipment for experienced vapers, the online shop keeps adding to its catalogue whilst continuing to innovate, by offering e-liquids and concentrates that are always more refined and elaborate such as their Creations and Ultimate ranges. Much-loved, the latter have rapidly proven to DIYers that they are a quality alternative to the best e-liquids already on the market.
Thanks to you, A&L now employs around 30 people (writers, vendors, pickers, operators, etc.) and without your support this wonderful adventure would never have happened.
Thank you everyone!
