Joyetech's Exceed D19 battery

The Exceed D19 battery adopts a tube size. This light, sturdy, and easy-to-carry vape will surely please beginners!

Its 1,500mAh capacity and 40 watts max power offer long hours of vape, depending on the installed coil.

Operation

As a built-in battery fitted with an electronic chipset, Joyetech's Exceed D19 is easy (and safe!) to use. Devoid of any screen nor buttons, it's simply fitted with LED indicators to show you which electric current is currently active:

• Direct current (white LED): equivalent of the traditional BYPASS mode. Voltage isn't regulated and power directly depends on the battery level
• Constant current (orange LED): voltage is regulated and the power remains constant, no matter the battery level, to enjoy consistent flavor and vapor rendering

Charging

Once you run out of battery, use the micro-USB port it's fitted with: plug it into an external power source using the provided cable and wait until it's fully charged!

Note the LED indicator will show you when this is needed: the faster it flickers, the lower the battery level is.

Joyetech's Exceed D19 clearomizer

Your battery is fitted with the Exceed D19 clearomizer from the same manufacturer.

19mm wide with a 2ml capacity, it brings a wonderful touch to your device! Easy to use and to fill, as well as extremely versatile, it can be used to enjoy pronounced flavors (MTL/indirect inhaling) or vapor (DL/direct inhaling) thanks to the polyvalent EX Head coils.

Coils

The Exceed D19 and its coils allow you to choose between two very distinct sensation types. Two coils are included in this pack:

• One 1.2ohm EX Head MTL coil to enjoy tight vape, similar to traditional cigarettes (MTL/indirect inhaling). Use it between 8 and 14 watts
• One 0.5ohm EX Head DL coil to enjoy airier vape, like direct (DL) or restricted direct inhaling (RDL). Use it between 20 and 35 watts

Your coil must be replaced every 2-3 weeks proceeding as follows:

1. Unscrew the Exceed D19 clearomizer from the battery
2. Unscrew the base of the clearomizer (the part right below the Pyrex tank)
3. Unscrew the coil from its base
4. Take a new coil and soak it with a few drops of e-liquid
5. Screw it on the base
6. Rebuild your clearomizer then screw it on the Exceed D19 battery

Air intakes

As your clearomizer offers two coil types for two vape types, it is equipped with an adjustable airflow ring.

This ring is right under the Pyrex tank and allows you to choose between two air intake combinations:

• Multiple adjustable air intakes, ideal for tight vape (MTL/indirect inhaling)
• A single large air intake, very airy, perfect for direct inhaling (DL)

Top fill system

The beautiful 2ml Pyrex tank of Joyetech's Exceed D19 clearomizer offers a practical top-fill system:

1. Remove the top cap
2. Insert the bottle tip in the tank
3. Fill it (never to the brim!)
4. Screw back the on the clearomizer
5. Wait for 5-10 minutes before vaping to make sure the coil is correctly primed
