The XROS 3 pod and its elegant and minimalist design will undoubtedly appeal to vapers looking for a discreet and effective electronic cigarette. Its modern and sleek finish goes well with its small size (23.6 x 115.1 x 13.7mm) and weight (45g).

It’s incredibly easy to use as well. You only have to assemble two parts (the battery and the cartridge) and there’s nothing to set up or adjust. Everything is already configured to offer an MTL (indirect inhale) or an RDL (restrictive direct inhale) vape.

The disposable cartridges are fitted with a sealed coil (0.6Ω or 1.0Ω), and can be refilled with e-liquid from above.

A cartridge that clips on or off

The pod is equipped with Vaporesso’s 2ml XROS cartridge, which clips onto the pod’s body using a magnetic connector. Therefore, you can connect and disconnect the tank in a second, allowing you to switch between eliquid flavours with ease. The two powerful magnets firmly hold the cartridge in place. As the tank contains a sealed coil, all you need to do when the latter wears out is replace the whole cartridge.

A long-lasting battery, powering an MTL or RDL vape

The XROS 3 pod is fitted with a 1,000mAh built-in battery, and Vaporesso’s powerful Axon chipset. Such a battery capacity will allow you to use the device all day long without running out of power.

You don’t need to be a vaping expert to use the pod either! Simply press the switch five times in a row to turn your pod on or off. Inhaling on the mouthpiece will trigger the device, which will then deliver the optimal power according to the coil you’re using. You can also turn it on manually if you wish, by pressing the switch.

The XROS 3 features a discreet airflow adjustment system, as well as an LED that tells you in real time how much battery is left.

Fast USB-C charging

As we said earlier, the XROS 3 pod is powered by a 1,000mAh built-in battery, so you don't have to worry about charging it throughout the day.

However, there is an LED on the pod’s front that tells you how much battery is left:

• Green LED: 70% to 100%
• Blue LED: 30% to 70%
• Red LED: 0% to 30%

Use the USB-C cable included in the kit to charge the battery, by plugging it into the pod’s USB port, located beneath it. The LED will blink when charging, and then stay fully lit when fully charged.

Two disposable cartridges of 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω

The cotton wicks inside the sealed-coil cartridges use Vaporesso’s Corex technology. These cartridges can hold 2ml of eliquid and are available in two different resistance values:

• 0.6Ω XROS MESH POD cartridge (pre-installed), ideal for a restrictive direct inhale (RDL)
• 1.0Ω XROS MESH POD cartridge, designed for a tighter draw with an indirect inhale (MTL), similar to the feel you’d get with a traditional cigarette

After two to three weeks of use, the coil will eventually wear out. You will just have to replace the whole cartridge with a new one, with no other fuss. In the meantime, you can easily refill your tank with e-liquid thanks to its top-fill system.

Adjust the airflow with a single motion

The XROS 3 pod has a tab for adjusting the airflow, located on the other side of the firing switch. That way, you can customise the amount of air that enters the device, depending on whether you prefer a tighter or airier draw.

A 2ml tank that can be refilled

The sealed-coil cartridge of the XROS 3 pod can hold up to 2ml of e-liquid. This should keep you going for a while, especially if you vape with an indirect inhale (MTL).

And to make things even easier, the XROS 3 has a top-filling cartridge. The drip tip can be  removed, giving direct access to the filling hole.

You don’t need to remove the tank to fill it with e-liquid:

1. Pull on the drip tip to remove it
2. Insert the tip of your bottle of eliquid into the filling hole. Be careful not to put any eliquid into the middle chimney
3. Pour your e-liquid
4. Reattach the drip tip
5. Wait 5 to 10 minutes if you’re using a new cartridge, so that the coil can soak up enough e-liquid
