Innokin

Who is Innokin?

Innokin is a manufacturer of e-cigarette equipment founded in 2011, drawing on the experience of its founders, who have been passionate about vaping since 2006. Over the years, the brand has built a solid reputation thanks to products designed for all vapers, from beginners to experienced users. The product collection is extensive: mods and complete kits (Coolfire, LiMAX), compact pod mods (Kroma Z, Klypse, Sceptre, GO Z), versatile clearomizers (Zenith, Zlide), as well as the corresponding replacement parts.

The Coolfire collection and starter Kits

The Coolfire Z80 kit combines an 80W mod powered by a single 18650 battery (not included) with a Zenith 2 clearomizer measuring 25.5mm in diameter and holding 5.5ml. It comes with two Z-Coil coils (0.8ohms and 1.6ohms) and can be easily adjusted for both mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping and a more open draw. A NEX version features the same base design in a redesigned single-battery format. For even greater ease of use, the LiMAX includes a built-in 3,000mAh battery delivering a maximum power of 60W, paired with the same tank: the essentials in a compact package designed for those seeking simplicity.

The Zenith collection: versatile clearomizers

The Zenith 2, Pro, Pro 2, and Zenith M make up the brand’s most well-known collection of clearomizers. The Pro 2, for example, features a 4.5ml straight top-fill tank with a new top airflow system, and a 25.5mm diameter compatible with any standard 510 connection mod. Designed to use the same Z-Coil coils as the rest of the family, it supports both indirect inhalation and restricted direct lung (RDL) inhalation, offering a successful balance between flavor and vapor production. This shared coil system greatly simplifies the selection of replacement parts, regardless of the model chosen.

The Kroma Z and Klypse podmods

The Kroma Z podmod features a 4.5ml capacity and a 3,000mAh built-in battery for a maximum of 40W. Compact and rugged, it remains compatible with Z-Coil coils and offers precisely adjustable airflow to tailor the draw to your preferences. In contrast, the Klypse Mecha takes a completely different approach: a design inspired by the world of watchmaking, with a small hand that literally tells the time on its zinc alloy casing. Hidden beneath this casing is a 900mAh battery rated for 18W, paired with sealed-coil cartridges that are easy to replace without any assembly.

The Sceptre podmod and GO Z kits

The Sceptre features a unique rectangular design, with a maximum power output of 20 watts and a 1,400mAh built-in battery. It comes with two 0.65ohm coils (one pre-installed) in its 3ml cartridge and is designed for a relatively tight draw with indirect inhalation, appealing to both beginners and more experienced vapers looking for simplicity. Another entry-level model, the GOZEE GO Z+ offers a 2,100mAh battery capacity for 60 watts in a lightweight 24mm-diameter body, with a 3.5ml tank. The even more compact GO Z rounds out this collection for simple, everyday use.

Zlide and Prism: compatible coils and clearomizers

The Zlide Top clearomizer, with its new airflow system and 24.5mm diameter, comes with two Pyrex tanks, 3ml and 4.5ml, and remains compatible with the entire Z-Coil family for both MTL and RDL vaping. The Zlide D24 rounds out this lineup in a more classic format. The older Prism line (T18, T20, and Prism S) remains available as replacement parts for the older Prism T20S clearomizers and Endura Apex podmods still used by many vapers, as do the S-Coil coils for the Sceptre and Sensis podmods.

Available sizes, power outputs, and batteries

Depending on the product, the power output ranges from 18W on the Klypse Mecha up to 80W on the Coolfire Z80 mod, including 20W on the Sceptre, 40W on the Kroma Z, and 60W on the LiMAX or GOZEE GO Z+. The mod uses a removable 18650 battery (not included), while the pods and all-in-one kits come with a built-in rechargeable battery, with the battery life listed in mAh on each product page: ranging from 900 on the Klypse Mecha to 3,000 on the Kroma Z or the LiMAX. Z-Coil coils cover a wide range of ohm values, from direct draw to the tightest draw, to suit the device being used.

As for maintenance, simply rinsing the tank with clean water before each refill extends the life of the coils and ensures good flavor reproduction. The coils, sold in packs, are compatible with most commercially available e-liquids, making them suitable for both daily and occasional use.

Prices, reviews, and shipping

The price of an Innokin product varies depending on the product collection and the type of device chosen: mod only, a complete kit with a clearomizer or podmod, cartridges, Pyrex glass, and replacement parts. Each product page on the site displays the current price, in-stock status, and reviews left by other users, a helpful guide before purchasing to assess quality and reliability under real-world conditions. These user reviews are particularly useful for comparing different models before making a decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Zenith and Zlide collections?

Both collections are clearomizers compatible with Z-Coil coils, but the Zenith features a classic straight design, while the Zlide Top offers a newer airflow system and two tank capacities (3 and 4.5ml) depending on the Pyrex tube installed.

Which podmod should I choose to get started?

The Sceptre, with its 20watt power output and tight MTL draw, or the GOZEE GO Z+, which is more versatile at 60W, are simple options for beginners. The LiMAX, with its 3,000mAh built-in battery, is also a reliable choice for simple everyday use.

Are the coils compatible across different models?

No, each product collection has its own coils: Z-Coil for Zenith, Kroma Z, and Zlide; S-Coil for Sceptre and Sensis; sealed cartridges for Klypse; and Prism coils for the older Prism T20S and Endura Apex models.

Do you need to buy a battery separately for an Innokin mod?

It depends on the model: the Coolfire Z80 runs on a single 18650 battery (not included), while kits like the LiMAX or the GOZEE GO Z+ come with a built-in rechargeable battery, so you don’t need to buy one separately.

How does the Klypse Mecha work?

It uses cartridges with sealed coils that can be replaced directly without any assembly. Its 900 mAh battery delivers a maximum of 18 watts, all housed in a compact case inspired by the world of watchmaking.
