The fifth iteration of the Taifun atomizer has a standard diameter of 25mm. The airflow ring is slightly larger than usual, though, measuring 25.7mm wide. The atomizer is 46mm high (without the drip tip) and has, of course, a 510 connector. The latter ensures the device is compatible with most e-cig mods and boxes.

The Taifun GTV atomizer is equipped with a smart single-coil deck. There are four posts for easily and quickly installing your coil, in any way you like. Two wells on either side will accommodate the ends of your cotton laces. In the middle there’s a total of 6 holes, guaranteeing a flawless airflow!

To access the coil deck, you must turn the top cap to the ‘O’ position. Then, you have to rotate the Taifun GT5 to the right and open it up.

A drip tip and air intakes designed for RDL or DTL

The Taifun GTV has two surprises for you, located beneath its tank: two wide air intakes. These can be adjusted by turning the airflow ring. You’ll feel each position click, and it’s very precise.

The airflow can be modified by equipping the atomizer with ‘airflow discs’, small interchangeable parts that are sold separately. By default, the Taifun GTV comes with a pre-installed airflow disc of 3 holes (each of 1.8mm in diameter).

The wide 510 stainless steel drip tip, combined with the big air intakes, is designed for a restrictive direct inhale (RDL) or a fully direct inhale (DTL), depending on your preferences!

A unique fill system, for 6ml of juice!

The famous manufacturer of Taifun atomizers has set the bar even higher than usual. Indeed, the GT5 has a straight Pyrex tank with a 6ml capacity. This should keep you going for a while!

The 6ml Pyrex tank is surrounded by a stainless steel cage that’s solid and stylish!

To fill the Taifun GT5, you don’t remove the top cap, as it’s fixed to the atomizer. Just turn the top cap until the filling hole appears.

Moreover, this ingenious filling system also acts as an e-liquid control ring!
