What tools do I need for building my coils?
Making your own atomiser coils for your electronic cigarette requires a small amount of kit, which will quickly pay for itself given how cheap the consumables are. Generally, you’ll need:
- some resistive wire
- a pair of wire cutters
- some fibre, made from cotton or silica
- a pair of scissors
- a coil jig
- an ohmmeter
- a screwdriver or Allen key
- a vape mat to protect your worktop
Once you’re properly equipped, you can easily build the coil you want and adapt it to your liking. There are many different builds to choose from, each with a different flavour rendition. Your e-liquid’s flavours will be more precise than with a standard electronic cigarette clearomiser.
