Taifun GT One Atomizer

German manufacturer SmokerStore is back to cheer vape up! This time, it offers a sixth version of the famous GT RTA atomizers: the Taifun GT One.

A high-end atomizer made of 304L stainless steel, much more compact, as well-made as ever, 23mm wide. This RTA reserves amazing surprises for vape purists, with a generous 4ml PSU tank, old-fashioned airflow and filling systems, and a single coil deck, as practical as ever.

There’s only one reference if you’re looking for high-quality MTL or RDL vaping and a modernized device: the Taifun GT One!

N.B: You might notice residual e-liquid in your Taifun GT One. This is totally normal as part of the brand’s airtightness procedures.

SmokerStore goes back to the roots with the Taifun GT One. This can be noticed in the design of this atomizer, very similar to the first Taifun GT creations, like the original Taifun from 2013.

To rework this beautiful high-end atomizer, the German modder takes the same material: 304L stainless steel. As always, the machining is beyond reproach (PEEK insulators), and the straight tank is made of PSU.

Back to the roots, but with modernized features! More compact, the Taifun GT One comes in a reduced size, 46mm long and 23mm wide.

A quality Taifun deck made for single-coil builds

SmokerStore decided to update the deck from the former versions of the Taifun, making it both more simple and practical. Made for single-coil builds, it adorns two (six-sided) screws facing each other, slightly displaced to make the build more intuitive.

Moreover, you’ll find the traditional well made to accommodate the cotton and the two holes on each side of the deck, to ensure perfect capillarity!

An insert-free airflow for purists!

Back to the roots also means a return to the traditional custom-made Taifun air intake system. The GT One offers an airflow ring that cannot be adjusted.

However, you’ll have the possibility to obstruct one of the two air intakes thanks to the small grub screw and small key, included in your box.

To adjust the airflow, you’ll have to look at the deck, fitted with a central air intake on which you can install airflow inserts of different diameters. It is initially equipped with a 1.2mm reducer, providing a pretty tight draw. Enough to delight Mouth to Lung (MTL) purists!

This way, depending on the airflow insert, you can obtain either a very tight vape (MTL oriented), or an airier one, but still restricted (restricted direct inhaling, or RDL). The 510 drip tip your GT One is fitted with may seem familiar to you. Indeed, it is the GTR drip tip, 15mm long and 4mm wide.

The Taifun GT One atomizer is delivered with a 4ml PSU tank. The PSU is more sturdy than Pyrex, but preserves the e-liquid flavors all the same!

No top fill system on this atomizer: to prevent leaks, SmokerStore fitted it with an old-fashioned bottom fill system, directly via the tank.

To do so, unscrew the upper part of the atomizer (starting from the PSU tank), turn it over, then insert the bottle tip inside (never pour anything in the chimney), then screw back the whole.
