You can replace your tank whenever you want, or switch between several of them if they’re filled with different e-liquid flavors, for example!

These Nord 5 cartridges have a generous tank of 5ml. Apart from the RPM3 coil, nothing needs to be changed. The drip tip is part of the cartridge, and the connectors are specifically designed to fit on Smok’s Nord 5 podmod.

Which coils go inside the cartridges? The RPM3 coils!

In order to use the cartridge with your Nord 5 pod, you must first equip it with an RPM3 coil (sold separately in packs of 5).

These coils are made of Mesh and will render each flavor of your favorite e-liquids. They’re sub-ohm coils, which means they also produce a nice amount of vapor, all with a direct (DTL) or restrictive direct inhale (RDL).

Once you’ve chosen a coil, you will have to install it in the Nord 5 cartridge. Then, every two to three weeks or so, you will have to change it. To do so:

1. Remove the cartridge from the magnetized connector of the Nord 5 pod
2. Turn it over
3. Slide the red tab outwards
4. If it’s the first coil you’re using, just soak it with a few drops of e-liquid before inserting it
5. Otherwise, remove the old coil from the tank and insert a new one in its place (make sure to prime the coil with a few drops of e-liquid, as mentioned above)

How to install or change a coil on Smok’s Nord 5 cartridge

Sturdy, generous, and easy to fill

Smoktech’s Nord 5 cartridges are fitted with a robust tank that’ll last a long while, made of PCTG material. This tank can hold up to 5ml of e-liquid.

But how do you fill this tank? 

1. Remove the cartridge from the magnetized connector of the Nord 5 pod
2. Pull the tab on the side of the Nord 5 cartridge
3. Tilt the cartridge slightly and insert the tip of the bottle of e-liquid into the hole
4. Fill the tank (but never to the brim)
5. Close the tab and put the cartridge back onto the Nord 5’s connector
6. Wait a few minutes for the coil to soak up the e-liquid
