The Novo 5 podmod is hassle-free, as it’s made of only two parts, a built-in battery and the Novo 5 cartridge.

The latter is a 2ml tank with a sealed coil inside it, intended for an indirect inhale (MTL), which offers a tight vape that’s similar to the one you’d get with a classic cigarette. This cartridge connects to the actual podmod with an ingenious magnetic connector. This system guarantees a perfect fit and allows you to switch tanks with ease, if you want to change your e-liquid flavour during the day, for example.

There is a spare Novo 5 cartridge included in the kit, and if you want to be able to switch between even more flavours, you can buy a set of two extra tanks, identical to the ones in this kit.

Two ways of using it: manual or automatic

Thanks to its effective chipset, the Novo 5 podmod can be used in two different ways:

• Automatic: simply inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping
• Manual: keep the power switch pressed for as long as you’re inhaling to heat the coil and produce vapour

The podmod’s OLED screen shows you how much battery you have left, the number of puffs and the current power setting. You can adjust the power output from 5 to 30 Watts, according to your preferences.

Easy USB-C charging 

Thanks to the Novo 5’s built-in battery of 900mAh, you'll be able to vape all day long without running out of power. Remember to check the e-cigarette’s OLED screen to know how much battery is left.

When the time comes, simply plug the USB-C cable provided into the port beneath the pod to charge the device.

The Novo 5 disposable cartridge

As we said above, the Novo 5 podmod is both simple and effective ! The 2ml tank that equips this electronic cigarette is a disposable one, because it contains a sealed coil that cannot be replaced. This saves you from having to tamper with the coil and replace it. Once it wears out, generally after two to three weeks of use, you just need to replace the entire cartridge.

The 0.7ohm coil that’s inside this cartridge is designed for a tight vape with an indirect inhale (MTL), which is great for beginner vapers who are at the beginning of their tobacco withdrawal.

Adjustable air intakes

Smoktech has equipped its Novo 5 podmod with a discreet knob, located right beneath the cartridge.

Thanks to this knob, you can adjust the airflow and choose between a tight draw and a slightly airier draw.

A quick and clean top fill

Not only is the Novo 5 cartridge fitted with a clever leakproof system, it is also filled from above.

Its transparent tank allows you to check how much e-liquid you have in it, and the removable mouthpiece allows you to fill the tank without removing the whole cartridge from the battery.

When the time comes to fill up the tank, proceed as follows:

1. Pull the mouthpiece off the cartridge to access the filling hole, the one with a red safety valve
2. Insert the tip of your bottle of e-liquid into this hole
3. Fill up with e-liquid
4. Put the mouthpiece back on
5. Wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping if you’re using a new cartridge
