The different types of concentrates available
The dessert-like concentrates can be categorized into two great families. The first refers to simple concentrates, or more commonly known as mono-flavors. The second refers to recipes that combine multiple flavors, which are referred to as complex recipes.
Simple concentrates
In the DIY world, you’ll find concentrates offering a single flavor, the mono-flavors.
They allow you to vape one flavor alone or create recipes by mixing flavors, so you can imagine an e-liquid to your liking.
It is possible to find concentrates with flavors of:
- Peanut butter
- Bubble gum
- Chestnut
- Caramelized peanuts
- Maple
Complex recipes
To vape ready-made dessert-flavored recipes, manufacturers offer complex flavors that combine all the characteristic flavors of this type of DIY.
Among the complex recipes recognized in the vaping community, several stand out from the crowd. These include mixes of:
- Strawberry candy
- American donut
- Vanilla, caramel, and rum
- Coffee milkshake, vanilla, caramel, and biscuits
- Caramel biscuit

How to choose the right dessert concentrates for electronic cigarettes?
Choosing a concentrate is very subjective. It largely depends on the taste preferences of each vaper. One person might enjoy vaping a caramel flavor, while another may prefer vanilla.
Fortunately, over time, different manufacturers have expanded their catalogs of recipes, enabling you to find a wide selection of products at Arômes et Liquides.
How to make your dessert concentrate?
Like other DIYs, dessert-flavored concentrates require a brief preparation before being vaped. Don't worry, here are the steps to follow before pouring e-liquid into an e-cigarette tank.
What are the preparation steps for the concentrate?
A concentrate for electronic cigarettes cannot be used as it is. To help you make your homemade e-liquid, here are the steps to follow:
- Get a PG/VG base, and if needed, one or more nicotine boosters
- In an empty bottle, add the concentrate percentage indicated on the bottle or product description
- Add your base mix
- Mix energetically
If you have any doubt about the concentrate or base quantity to add, don’t hesitate to use our DIY calculator.
How long should it steep?
Dessert concentrates require a little patience, and more specifically, maturation, before being vaped. We recommend at least 15 days (2 weeks), or even 1 month, in a dry, shaded place to allow the flavors to develop fully.
Regarding the storage, if you do not intend to keep your e-liquid for 1 or 2 years, there are no special conditions. However, it is recommended to avoid exposure to heat or light.
Our pro tips
Dessert-style concentrates are generally complex recipes. However, to make them even more to your liking, you can easily add a few additives such as a Sweetener for a sweet taste, or Koolada for a fresh flavor.
