Eleaf EC Head Coils (x5) Melo 3/4/4S/5/6/C
EC-M and EC-N coils for the Melo 3, 4, 5, 6, Melo 4S and Melo C models
You will discover a new vaping experience with the EC HEAD coils. Eleaf invites you to try out its new coil technology for electronic cigarettes. The EC-M and EC-N both have a Kanthal mesh strip inside them.
The latter allows a significantly larger heating surface whilst being more responsive. This clever system also allows the coils to last much longer than a standard coil and offers a stunning flavor rendering along with an impressive amount of vapor.
At some point, you will have to replace your coil, often when your e-liquid flavors start to taste differently.
EC-N and EC-M coils for your Melo clearomizer
With Eleaf's EC Head EC-N and EC-M coils, only the technology changes. They are used in much the same way:
- the 0.15ohm EC-N Kanthal coil should be used between 30 and 70 watts
- the 0.15ohm EC-M Kanthal coil should be used between 30 and 75 watts
If you use these coils at full power, opt for e-liquids with a high vegetable glycerin (VG) content to avoid any spills or leaks with your Melo device. We also recommend you properly prime your coils before using them by pouring a few drops of e-liquid on the cotton wicks and letting them sit for a few minutes inside a full tank.
Changing the coil of your Melo tank
Whether you own a Melo 3, 3 Mini, 4, 4S, 5, 6, or C clearomizer, the coil is changed in the same way. You will have to do it every 2 to 3 weeks (depending on the e-liquid and your daily use).
- Unscrew the lower part of your clearomizer (where the air intake is)
- Pull out the old coil
- Unwrap a new coil and soak its wicks with a few drops of e-liquid
- Insert it in the dedicated slot, where the old one was
The EC Head (EC-N and EC-M) coils for the Melo 3, 3 Mini, 4, 4S, 5, 6, C, and iJust ECM clearomizers are made by Eleaf.
