Geekvape Z Sub-Ohm 5 Clearomizer

Geekvape continues its series of Z (Zeus) clearomizers, here with a Sub-Ohm 5 version.

Its 5.5ml bulb Pyrex can be changed with the one included in the box, presenting an even bigger capacity of 7ml.

Compatible with the Z Series coils of the manufacturer, the Z Sub-Ohm 5 is clearly meant for an airy draw in direct inhaling (DL).

With a base diameter of 24mm, this clearomizer is equipped with a standard 510 pin, enabling you to connect it to most mods on the market.

A loyal version of the Zeus look

For this fifth version, Geekvape is inspired by previous versions of the Z (Zeus) clearomizer.

Find here a structure in stainless steel, with an Acier Damas finish on the chimney.

The Z Sub-Ohm 5 measures 56.1mm in height for 29mm in width with this Pyrex, with a base diameter of 24mm.

A DL-focused 810 drip tip will top the sliding top cap.

Coils made for DL

Specially made to hold the Z Series coil by Geekvape, the Z Sub-Ohm 5 is delivered with:

• 1 Z XM Version Boost coil of 0.2ohm (pre-installed): for a very airy draw, between 70 and 80W
• 1 Z XM Version Boost coil of 0.4ohm: for a slightly more restrictive vape, between 50 and 60W

After two to three weeks of use, your coil will start to show some wear signs (loss of flavors, light burnt taste).

It will be time to change it to a new one.

For this:

1. Unscrew the clearomizer's bottom part
2. Pull on the used coil to take off the key included in the box
3. Soak a new coil with some e-liquid drops
4. Insert this new coil in its compartment in place of the old one
5. Screw back the bottom part of your Z Sub-Ohm 5
6. Fill your tank with e-liquid
7. Wait for some minutes before vaping so the coil is correctly primed

A leakproof top airflow

For its Z Sub-Ohm 5, Geekvape keeps a handy and efficient system for its airflow system.

Find adjustable air intakes located on the clearomizer's top part.

This airflow ring frees two large windows, enabling you to alternate between a very airy vape and a slightly tighter draw.

The comeback of the sliding top cap

For the tank, Geekvape gives a bulb Pyrex of 5.5ml to the Z Sub-Ohm 5 and includes a second Pyrex in the box, in a bulb format, with a 7ml capacity.

For the filling, the manufacturer bets on a top-fill system, via a sliding top cap.

When you need to fill it with e-liquid, no need to take the clearomizer off the mod; you only have to:

1. Slide the top cap of the Z Sub-Ohm 5
2. Insert the thin tip of your bottle into the filling hole
3. Softly pour your e-liquid up to three-quarters
4. Push the top cap to close it

Is your coil new? Wait for a few minutes before vaping so it is correctly primed with e-liquid.
