An ingenious combination of clearomizer and cartridge 

The DotTank 25mm clearomizer is a magnificent piece of kit, as is usually the case with Dotmod:

• It has a magnetized aluminum base with an airflow ring and a standard 510 connector of 25mm in diameter
• It also has a 5ml PCTG tank with a built-in drip tip (which cannot be removed)

You can immediately see why Dotmod is known for its elegance and refinement, not to mention the parts’ great manufacturing precision and ease of use.

DotCoils for Dotmod’s DotTank, obviously!

The DotTank 25 clearomizer uses Dotmod’s DotCoil V2 coils, which already equip the famous DotAIO V2 kit from the same manufacturer.

There’s a 0.15ohm DotCoil V2 coil already installed in the clearomiser. This SS316L mesh coil is very effective at rendering your e-liquid flavors, and it’s perfectly suited to cloudy vaping styles with a direct inhale (DTL). Use it from 70 to 90W.

You should change your coils every 2 to 3 weeks. To do so:

1. Remove the magnetized base from the PCTG tank
2. Turn the PCTG tank upside down
3. Pull the old coil out of its slot
4. Replace it with a new one, making sure to soak its cotton wicks with a few drops of e-liquid first
5. Put the PCTG tank back onto the magnetized base
6. Proceed to fill the tank

Nice and wide air intakes

When you talk about a piece of Dotmod gear, every detail counts, whether it’s in terms of design or use. 

On the DotTank 25 clearomizer, the air intakes are on the bottom ring. You can adjust the airflow by rotating the notched airflow ring, like many other clearomizers.

If you look closely, you can see that the two air intakes are a bit thinner and longer than usual. This isn’t just for looks, it makes the kit more versatile. With such a wide intake, you’ll be able to accurately adjust your draw, from tight to airy!

Fill it like a cartridge 

The DotTank 25 clearomizer has a good e-liquid capacity of 5ml.

And, seeing as the DotTank is a mix of clearomizer and cartridge, it uses the cartridges’ bottom-fill system.

1. Separate the magnetized base from the PCTG tank
2. Flip the tank upside down
3. Lift the small silicone tab that has ‘Open’ marked on it
4. Insert the tip of your bottle of e-liquid
5. Fill the tank

After filling the tank, wait for about 10 minutes for the coil to soak up enough e-liquid. This will prevent any unwanted dry hits!
