A handy device, both clearomizer and cartridge 

The DotTank 25mm clearomizer is a Dotmod device, composed of two pieces:

• It has a magnetized aluminum base with an airflow ring and a standard 510 connector of 25mm in diameter
• It also has a 5ml PCTG tank with a built-in drip tip (which cannot be removed)

To use the DotTank 25 clearomizer from Dotmod, you will need to check out the DotCoil V2 coils (which already come with the manufacturer's DotAIO V2 kit).

Already installed in your clearomizer, you will find the DotCoil V2 coil in 0.15ohm. A SS316L Mesh coil, effective at reproducing the flavors of your e-liquids and adjusted for an airy vape, direct inhaling (DTL). You will use it from 70 to 90W.

How to change the DotTank 25 coil?

You should change your coils every 2 to 3 weeks. To do so:

1. Remove the magnetized base from the PCTG tank
2. Turn the PCTG tank upside down
3. Pull the old coil out of its compartment
4. Replace it with a new one, making sure to soak its cotton wicks with a few drops of e-liquid first
5. Put the PCTG tank back onto the magnetized base
6. Proceed to fill the tank

Every detail counts, both in design and use. And this is even more true when you aim for Dotmod quality!

On the DotTank 25 clearomizer, you will find the air intakes on the lower part. You can adjust them by simply turning the notched airflow wheel. So far, nothing very different.

But if you look closely, the two airflow windows on the DotTank 25mm are a little unusual: they are narrower but longer. More than just an aesthetic choice, this design adds versatility to the device. With such a long stroke, you can precisely adjust the draw, from the tightest to the airiest!

How to fill the 5ml of the 25mm DotTank? 

The DotTank 25 clearomizer has an e-liquid capacity of 5ml.

And, seeing as the DotTank is a mix of clearomizer and cartridge, it uses the cartridge’s bottom-fill system.

1. Separate the magnetized base from the PCTG tank
2. Flip the tank upside down
3. Lift the small silicone tab that has ‘Open’ marked on it
4. Insert the tip of your bottle of e-liquid
5. Fill the tank

After filling the tank, wait for about 10 minutes for the coil to soak up enough e-liquid. This will prevent any unwanted dry hits!
