Dotmod Dotbox 220 V2 Mod

Dotmod is back with a second version of its Dotbox, an electronic mod that continues to be powered by two 18650 batteries (not included) for a maximum power output of 220W.

The Dotbox V2 is a very lightweight mod thanks to its aluminum construction.

With a diameter of 25mm, it accommodates all your clearomizers and atomizers equipped with a standard 510 pin.

Equipped with a high-definition color screen, this mod offers several operating modes for true versatility of use.

A light mod

One of the Dotbox V2’s main assets is its aluminum construction, which makes it incredibly lightweight at just 95g (without the battery).

For a seamless setup, pair it with a clearomizer or atomizer with a maximum diameter of 25mm.

• A Switch button
• A 1.08" color display
• Two adjustment buttons
• A lock switch

You’ll also find a magnetic panel on the side of the mod that conceals the dual 18650 battery compartment, as well as a USB-C port located on the side of the mod.

A customizable functioning

With its Dotbox V2, Dotmod caters to all types of vapers, from beginners to the most experienced.

In fact, the manufacturer has equipped the mod with a high-performance chipset that gives you access to various settings modes.

Depending on your desired vaping experience, choose the mode that suits you best from the following:

• PM Mode (Power Mode): adjust the power, from 5 to 220W
• BP Mode (Bypass): this mode simulates the experience of a mechanical mod while benefiting from the chipset’s electronic safety features. The power varies depending on the voltage of your batteries.
• Ni, Ti, SS Modes (Temperature): set the temperature based on the coil wire used in your build, from 100 to 315°
• Curve Mode: define a curve to customize the power at the start and end of the puff

You’ll also find a Boost function, available only in PM mode, delivering maximum power at the start of the puff.

All these settings are accessible via the 1.08-inch screen and the “+” and “-” buttons.

The Switch button allows you to:

• 1 click: Turn the screen on
• 3 clicks: Access the menu
• 4 clicks: Lock or unlock the "+" and "-" buttons
• 5 clicks: Turn the mod on or off

Finally, located just below the "+" and "-" buttons, a slide switch allows you to lock and unlock your entire electronic mod.

A 18650 dual battery compartment

In terms of battery life, Dotmod has opted for a dual 18650 battery setup (batteries not included).

To insert them, simply remove the magnetic panel located on the side of the mod.

Be sure to follow the polarity directions indicated on the inside of the panel.

Note that the underside of the panel displays key information about the mod, including the various functions of the switch button.

The manufacturer also recommends using batteries with a minimum capacity of 20Ah each.

Are you running out of battery power?

Use the USB-C cable included in the box and plug it into the port on the bottom of the device to recharge.

However, we recommend using an external charger for your batteries whenever possible, primarily to extend their lifespan.
