Hellvape Dead Rabbit Solo 2 RTA Atomizer

Hellvape evolves its Dead Rabbit Solo RTA with this second version.

The Dead Rabbit Solo 2 RTA features the same core elements as its predecessor: a flavor-focused, postless single-coil deck and a completely redesigned top airflow system for even more precise airflow control.

It is meant for expert vapers wishing to explore rebuildable in a compact format, with a draw in RDL or DL.

With a base diameter of 24.5mm, it is easily installed with most mechanical mods.

A refined design

For this second edition, the brand has chosen to finish the Dead Rabbit Solo 2 RTA with a sparkling design.

In addition to its sleek design, it measures 24.5mm in diameter and 40mm in height, including the drip tip, and 34mm without it. Compact in size, it fits easily and without protruding on most mods.

Furthermore, its stainless steel construction ensures durability.

The rabbit engraving, a signature feature of the line, is once again positioned on the chimney.

As for the airflow ring, it bears the inscriptions “Dead Rabbit” on one side and “Hellvape” on the other.

The 810 drip tip, made of colored resin, is interchangeable, allowing you to customize your setup to suit your needs.

Finally, its 510 connection with a pin ensures broad compatibility with most mods on the market.

A single coil postless deck in V

The Dead Rabbit Solo 2 RTA is equipped with a single coil postless deck in V.

This deck type eases the coil positioning and holds the air intakes located on the bottom (6 holes) and on the sides (10 holes on each side, 20 in total).

Do you wish to make your build? The atomizer is ready to be used: a 0.37ohm coil and cotton are included to get started!

A coil trimmer is also included to cut the ends to the right length. Hellvape recommends a coil length of around 5mm, with a tolerance range going from 4 to 8mm.

A few tips to get you started on your first build:

• Trim the coil legs to 5mm using the coil trimmer
• Center the coil on the deck, making sure to align it with the airflow holes (bottom and side)
• Cut the cotton, leaving enough excess to reach the deck’s channels without extending beyond them
• Soak the cotton

A revisited honeycomb airflow

This is where the Solo 2 RTA differs most significantly from its predecessor.

While the first edition of the Dead Rabbit Solo RTA featured two wide air intake slots, the Solo 2 RTA is equipped with a honeycomb airflow ring consisting of 14 holes on each side, for a total of 28.

This honeycomb design allows for more even airflow distribution around the coil, ensuring optimal flavor delivery.

You can precisely adjust the draw between an RDL vape and an airy DL vape, depending on your preferences and the type of build installed.

A top filling

The Dead Rabbit Solo 2 RTA uses a top-fill system.

To fill or refill the e-liquid, simply rotate the top cap a quarter turn to reveal one of the two wide fill channels.

This atomizer comes with a pre-installed 2ml straight Pyrex tank.

However, the manufacturer, Hellvape, also includes a 4ml bubble-style Pyrex tank for those who want a greater capacity.

Filling the tank is very simple:

1. Rotate the top cap a quarter turn to expose a filling channel
2. Insert the narrow tip of your bottle into the opening
3. Gently fill the tank
4. Close the top cap
