With its Armour G2, Vaporesso is expanding its Armour G podmod collection, this time featuring a built-in 3,400mAh battery that supports 3A fast charging and a dual safety lock (which activates automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity and via a button).

This podmod features the Axon 3.0 chipset and delivers up to 60W of power.

Its 5ml G 2.0 MTL cartridge is compatible with GTX coils, fills from the top, and features adjustable top airflow.

Thanks to its 510-style drip tip, you get a tight draw with mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping.

A compact podmod design

The Armour G2 measures 113x39x28mm and weighs just 222g, making it easy to carry around every day, whether in your pocket or in your bag.

Its front side consists of:

How does the Armour G2 work?

Vaporesso has equipped this podmod with the Axon 3.0 chipset, which offers three operating modes accessible via the screen and control buttons:

SMART Mode: power is automatically adjusted based on the installed coil, with no manual adjustment required
ECO Mode: optimizes power consumption when the battery drops below 40% to extend battery life
PULSE Mode: maintains power output below 20% battery level for optimal flavor delivery

In all cases, the power output remains manually adjustable between 5 and 60W.

Additionally, the Armour G2 offers three animated interface themes, which you can select according to your needs from the podmod's menu.

To prevent accidental activation during transport, this podmod features a dual locking system: a dedicated lock button on the front panel and an automatic lock that cuts off power after 3 minutes of inactivity.

A 3,400mAh built-in battery with 3A fast charging

Unlike the GS2 version, which uses a removable 18650 battery, the Armour G2 features a 3,400mAh built-in battery.

When it's time to recharge, simply plug the included USB-C cable into the front port. According to the manufacturer, the 5V/3A fast charging allows you to reach 100% battery capacity in about 1 hour.

Additionally, the 0.96" TFT screen displays the remaining battery percentage in real time.

The G 2.0 MTL cartridge

With a 5ml capacity, the G 2.0 MTL cartridge included with the Armour G2 is designed to accommodate Vaporesso's GTX coils.

It attaches to the podmod body via a magnetic system, allowing for quick insertion and removal.

Its short 510 drip tip is designed for a tight draw with indirect inhalation (MTL).

Additionally, Vaporesso notes that your Armour G2 is also compatible with the G 2.0 DTL cartridge, a handy option if you prefer a more open draw.

GTX Coils

The Armour G2 is compatible only with Vaporesso GTX coils.

Vaporesso includes two coils with your podmod:

GTX Dual Mesh 0.6ohm (pre-installed): for a tight draw with mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping; use between 20 and 26W
GTX Dual Mesh 0.4ohm: for a slightly airier draw with restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping, to be used between 26 and 32W

For the G 2.0 MTL podmod, Vaporesso recommends using coils with a value between 0.4 and 0.6ohms.

If you ever opt for a G 2.0 DTL cartridge, the manufacturer recommends using coils with a value between 0.15 and 0.6 ohms.

To replace your coil:

Remove the cartridge from its magnetic base
Gently pull on the used coil to remove it
Soak the new coil with a few drops of e-liquid
Insert it into its slot
Replace the cartridge on the podmod
Wait 5 to 10 minutes before vaping to allow the coil to prime

The top airflow on the G 2.0 MTL cartridge

To adjust your draw, the cartridge features an adjustable airflow control located at the top. By turning the notched ring, you can vary the airflow: the more the vents are open, the airier the vapor will be.

For your convenience, this top airflow helps minimize the risk of e-liquid leaks.

How do you refill the cartridge?

The cartridge is refilled from the top (top-fill), without needing to remove it from the podmod.

To refill with e-liquid:

Pull back the silicone protective cap
Insert the tip of your bottle into the filling port
Gently pour e-liquid until the desired level is reached
Carefully replace the protective cap

If you’ve just installed a new coil, be sure to wait a few minutes before vaping to allow it to prime properly.
