How does the Astara podmod work?

A 6ml cartridge

The Lost Vape brand has equipped its Astara with a cartridge that has a capacity of 6ml and is made from PCTG.

Very practical, it has two viewing windows that allow you to check the level of e-liquid remaining inside.

The podmod also comes with two 810 drip tips: a short one for a more direct draw (pre-installed), and a long one to replicate the experience of a traditional hookah.

A 0.3ohm built-in coil

With the Astara kit, there is no need to change the coil. This is because it is sealed inside the tank. With a coil of 0.3 ohms, it is suitable for a DL airflow.

When you notice signs of wear (a slight burnt taste or loss of flavor), simply replace the entire cartridge with a new one.

Is your cartridge worn out? Here are the steps to follow to change it:

1. Unscrew the upper ring to the right
2. Gently pull on the cartridge using the drip tip
3. Remove the drip tip by pulling on it
4. Dispose of the used cartridge in an appropriate waste bin
5. Remove the silicone cap and pour your e-liquid into the new one
6. Close the filling cap
7. Insert the new cartridge into the designated compartment
8. Screw the top ring back on

As the cartridge is new with a new sealed coil, we recommend waiting at least 10 minutes so that it can properly soak up the e-liquid.

A handy and adjustable top airflow

Your E-Chicha is equipped with an adjustable top airflow located at the top of the cartridge, limiting the risk of leaks.

Simply turn the notched ring to open or close the air intakes and thus modify the draw.

As a reminder: the more the airflow is open, the more airy the draw. Conversely, the more it is closed, the tighter the draw.

How to fill your Astara cartridge?

Whether it's your first time filling or a subsequent refill, here is the guide to follow to fill your 6ml tank with e-liquid:

1. Turn the upper ring to the right
2. Carefully remove the cartridge from the podmod
3. Remove the silicone cap on the side of the cartridge
4. Insert the tip of your e-liquid bottle
5. Pour your e-liquid into the tank
6. Carefully replace the silicone cap
7. Reconnect the cartridge to the podmod
8. Screw the top ring back on

After filling a new cartridge, you must wait 10 minutes to allow time for the coil to soak.
