Dotmod offers the second version of its DotBox: a kit made for vapers looking for power and versatility in a dual battery format.

This kit is composed of the DotBox 220 V2 mod and the DotTank Max V2 clearomizer with a 4ml capacity.

It works with two 18650 batteries (not included) and can deliver up to 220W and offers 7 setting modes.

It is built of aluminum, which makes it sturdy and light.

You'll also have a TFT screen of 1.08", setting buttons, a Fire button, a locking switch, and an airflow.

A design in aluminum

The DotMod manufacturer offers a kit entirely made of aluminum: a sturdy and light material.

Measuring 140x50x25mm for a weight of 143g, it offers good handling and enables you to easily slide it into your pocket or bag.

Its main side gathers from top to bottom:

• 1 Fire button
• 1 1.08" TFT color screen
• 2 setting buttons
• 1 locking switch

A USB-C port is positioned under the mod's base, enabling a quick recharge of 2A batteries via the cable included.

For the clearomizer, the DotTank Max V2 displays a diameter with a 25mm base, for a 4ml capacity, and an 810 drip tip.

Up to 7 functioning modes

To turn on or off your DotBox 220W V2, push 5 quick pushes on the Fire button.

Once it is turned on, you can browse between several vaping modes accessible via a color screen and setting buttons.

How to change your mode? Push 3 times successively on the Fire button to have access to the menu, then choose the mode that suits you among:

• Power: manually set the power from 5 to 220W
• Boost: activate the performance mode for fast heating
• Bypass: the power delivered depends on the battery and the value of the coil installed
• Curve: definition of a customizable power curve in real time
• Ni/TI/SS: temperature control modes for coils in Nickel Ni200, titanium, or SS316 stainless steel

With 4 quick pushes, you lock or unlock the mod.

For your comfort, DotMod equips the kit with a sliding switch, located under the setting buttons.

Handy, it enables locking or unlocking the whole kit with one move when you transport the mod, to avoid any accidental ignitions.

Two 18650 batteries

To supply your kit, get two 18650 batteries, not included in the box.

Where and how to insert them? You only have to take off the back of the mod, held by magnets, then place your batteries while respecting the polarities indicated on the compartment's back.

The DotBox 220W V2 kit includes a USB-C port under its base to recharge your batteries directly in the box.

You only need to use the USB-C cable included to connect it to the port, then connect it to an external power source (wall outlet, external battery, computer).

We highly recommend using an external charger to preserve the lifespan of your 18650 batteries.

The DotTank Max V2 clearomizer

The DotTank Max V2 is a Sub-Ohm clearomizer of 25mm base diameter, specially suited to an open draw in direct inhaling (DL).

It offers a 4ml capacity and is equipped with an 810 drip tip.

Compared to the previous version, this clearomizer features an airflow that is 35% more efficient and a structure that is 50% lighter, while retaining a convenient top-fill system to prevent leaks.

Two DotCoils included

Your tank is compatible with the DotCoil collection by Dotmod.

Dotmod slides two coils with this kit:

• 1 0.15ohm DotCoil coil (pre-installed): to use between 60 and 80W, for a very airy draw in direct inhaling (DL)
• 1 0.3ohm DotCoil coil: to use between 25 and 40W, for a more restrictive draw in direct inhaling (RDL)

How to change your coil?

When you feel a loss of flavors of a light burnt taste, it is time to change your coil with a new one.

To do this, here's what you need to do:

1. Take the DotTank Max V2 clearomizer off the mod
2. Unscrew the clearomizer's base
3. Pull the used coil out of the compartment
4. Soak the new coil with some e-liquid drops
5. Put this new coil in the compartment in place of the old one
6. Screw the clearomizer's base back
7. Fill the tank
8. Reconnect the DotTank Max V2 to the mod

Warning: You have to wait 10 minutes before vaping so the coil is correctly primed with e-liquid.

A top airflow system

The air intakes of the DotTank Max V2 are positioned on the top part of the clearomizer.

A rotary ring enables you to open or close the holes so you can adjust the draw according to your preferences, from a very open draw (DL) to a less airy result (RDL).

A top filling

The 4ml tank of your clearomizer is filled through the top thanks to a top cap.

To fill it, here are the steps to follow:

1. Turn the top cap to unlock it
2. Take the top cap off
3. Insert the thin tip of your bottle into one of the filling holes
4. Softly pour your e-liquid into the tank
5. Replace the top cap and pivot it the other way around to lock it

If you want to install a new coil, wait for some minutes before vaping so you can soak it with e-liquid.
