Aspire Zelos X80 Kit

With the Zelos X80 kit, the brand Aspire offers a compact electronic cigarette thought for a vape in indirect inhaling (MTL), and even in restrictive direct inhaling (RDL).

This kit is composed of the Zelos X80 mod and the Nautilus GT II clearomizer.

About this mod, it works with a 18650 battery (not included) and offers a maximum power of 80W.

Added to this is the Nautilus GT II clearomizer, a tank with a 4.5 ml reservoir, featuring top filling and adjustable bottom airflow to adjust the draw to your preferences.

The latter is compatible with all the coils of the Nautilus series (BVC).

A compact and sturdy design

The Zelos X80 kit presents dimensions of 137x26x36.5mm for a weight of 178g.

Its conception in zinc alloy, aluminum, and stainless steel makes it sturdy with good handling.

On the main side of the mod, you'll find:

• A Fire button
• A 0.96" TFT color screen with 8 levels of adjustable brightness
• Two '+' and '-' buttons to set the device
• A USB-C port to recharge the mod

How does the Zelos X80 kit work?

Easy to operate, the Zelos X80 kit turns on or off by quickly pressing the Fire switch five times.

With Aspire's ASP chipset, you are provided with five functioning modes:

• WATT: manual power setting from 5 to 80W
• VOLTAGE: output voltage control
• BYPASS: the device generates the maximum power of the coil installed
• TC: temperature control for different coil wires (use a rebuildable atomizer
• CPS: customize your power curves

In addition, a discreet slide switch located under the mod next to the battery compartment allows you to quickly lock or unlock the kit when you need to carry it in a bag or pocket.

A supply of a 18650 single battery

The Zelos X80 kit is supplied with a 18650 battery (not included), easily accessible through the trapdoor located under the mod.

To insert it, flip over the mod, lift the small handle on the flap, then unscrew it by turning it. Then place your battery in the compartment, following the polarity markings indicated inside, and close the cover.

Warning, if you wish to take the battery out of your mod, make sure to flip the latter upside down so the battery doesn't fall.

Don't have a spare battery or charger handy? No worries. Aspire equips its kit with a 2A USB-C port for fast charging directly from the mod.

The charge port is located on the front of the device, and you can use the included USB-C cable to connect it to a computer or a compatible adapter.

However, we recommend using a dedicated external charger (not included) to extend the life of your batteries.

The Nautilus GT II clearomizer

To accompany its Zelos X80 kit, Aspire has opted for a robust clearomizer made of stainless steel and Pyrex: the Nautilus GT II.

This tank has a 4.5ml capacity and a top-fill system.

Located at the bottom, its rotating ring allows for precise airflow adjustment, ranging from a tight MTL draw to a slightly more airy RDL vape.

Fully compatible with the BVC range of coils, the Nautilus GT II is a versatile clearomizer designed for multiple vaping styles.

Note that Aspire includes a spare Pyrex glass tube and an additional drip tip in the box.

Two BVC coils

In the box, Aspire includes two coils:

• 1 0.3ohm Nautilus Meshed Coil (pre-installed): is used between 23 and 28 watts, for a slightly airy draw in restrictive direct inhaling (RDL)
• 1 1.8ohm BVC coil: to use between 10 and 14 watts for a tight draw in indirect inhaling (MTL)

After two to three weeks, your coil may wear out and cause a loss of flavors or a slight burnt taste. This is when you should install a new one.

To do this, you only have to:

1. Unscrew the base of your Nautilus GT II clearomizer
2. Take out the used coil
3. Soak a new coil with some e-liquid drops
4. Insert this coil in its compartment
5. Screw the bottom part back
6. Fill the tank to the top
7. Wait for ten minutes to let the coil soak before vaping

Precisely adjustable top airflow

To customize your vaping experience, the Nautilus GT II has an adjustable airflow ring located at the base of the tank.

Its 7 progressive openings allow you to control the air intake precisely.

Turn the ring to the notch you want to find the air intake that suits you.

Remember: the greater the air intake, the more airy the vape will be in RDL mode. Conversely, if you set the airflow ring to a small opening, the airflow will be restricted and the draw will be tighter (MTL).

A top filling system

How to fill your 4.5 ml Nautilus GT II tank? Filling is done from the top (top-fill).

Follow the steps below to charge your tank with e-liquid:

1. Rotate the top of the clearomizer a quarter turn
2. Insert the tip of your bottle into one of the two filling holes
3. Pour in the e-liquid, taking care not to pour it into the central chimney
4. Carefully close the top of the clearomizer

Please note: if the coil in your kit is new, wait a few minutes before vaping.
