Dotmod offers the second version of its DotTank Max: a light clearomizer made of aluminum, particularly suited to enthusiasts of direct inhaling (DL) and restrictive direct inhaling (RDL).

Compared to its predecessor, this model features a 35% improvement in airflow and a 50% lighter design, with a 4ml capacity.

It measures 52.2mm in height (43.6mm without drip-tip) for a 25mm base diameter, and is associated with most mods of the market via its standard 510 connection.

A clearomizer in aluminum alloy

The V2 of DotTank Max is made with aluminum alloy, making it sturdy and light for a weight of 47.7g.

Its 25mm base diameter (29mm for the bulb Pyrex) enables it to be associated with most mods.

Its bulb Pyrex tank can hold 4ml of e-liquid.

On the clearomizer's top part, you'll find the top cap equipped with an 810 drip tip, above a rotary ring meant for an airflow setting.

Its drip tip is interchangeable with most 810 tips.

Two DotCoils

The DotTank Max V2 works with a Dotmod's DotCoil V2 coils. These coils are in 316L stainless steel mesh.

The brand DotMod delivers two coils with your clearomizer:

• 1 0.15ohm DotCoil (pre-installed): to use between 60 and 80W for a very airy draw in direct inhaling (DL).
• 1 0.3ohm DotCoil: to use between 25 and 40W, for a slightly tighter draw in restrictive direct inhaling (RDL)

To change your coil, it's easy: unscrew the DotTank Max V2's base, pull on the used coil, soak a new one with some e-liquid drops, and slide it inside.

Close the base, fill the e-liquid tank, then wait for ten minutes so the coil is correctly primed, and you're ready to vape!

A top airflow

The air intakes of DotTank Max V2 are located on the clearomizer's top part (top airflow).

Thanks to this configuration, you limit the risks of leakage.

You set your draw in no time thanks to the rotary ring located below the top cap: open the holes for an airy draw in DL, slightly close them to have a more restrictive flow in RDL.

A top-filling

The 4ml tank of DotTank Max V2 is filled through the top, without having to take the clearomizer out of the mod.

Is your tank empty? Here are the steps to follow to fill it:

1. Turn the top cap to unlock it and fill it
2. Insert the thin cap of your bottle into one of the filling holes
3. Pour your e-liquid
4. Reinstall the top cap and lock it by pivoting it the other way around

Warning: if the coil is new, wait for some minutes before vaping to let the cotton get primed with e-liquid.
